OUTLINE OF THE MODEL PRAYER ” Matthew 6.9-13

1. The prayer concerns God’s person, Matthew 6.9: “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.”

2. The prayer concerns God’s program, Matthew 6.10: “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

3. The prayer concern’s God’s provisions, Matthew 6.11: “Give us this day our daily bread.”

4. The prayer concerns the prayer’s personal purity, Matthew 6.12: “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”

5. The prayer concerns God’s protection, Matthew 6.13: “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
